Density: 8,000 vines per hectare.
Type of soil: gravel and sand with some clay nappes.
Grapes varieties: cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot.
Pruning: simple Guyot method.
Harvesting: hand-made.
Vinification: pressing followed by low temperature fermentation in stainless steel thermoregulated vats.

Tasting notes: Ruby couloured. Slight animal touch on the noze, opening macerated red and black fruits aromas. Round and supple on the palate.

Vintage 2005: James Suckling, from the Wine Spectator magazine, rated the 2005 vintage of Liber Pater red 75-79.
