A UNIQUE BOTTLE

The bottle which contains the Liber Pater wines is named "Libera", from the name of the Liber Pater Goddess. The Libera bottle stands as a technical achievement, expressing in its vitality of shape and the enamel silk screen printing. The design clearly draws from the sculptural tradition of the roman empire classic architecture, with its stature, its slandering line, its balanced volumes and its stylish dynamism. The underlying purpose is to awaken the timeless values of the symbolic shapes, the purity of the glass, the uniqueness and the richness of the enamel silk-printing.

The silk-printed text, around the Libera is an invitation to be part of the Liberalia festival. It is adapted from an Ovid literary work:

Before your rise, Liber Pater, the tables were sad and the frozen earth made the vine poorly fertile. The 3rd day after the Ides of March, Liber Pater arrives and from the country to the cities a quivering clamour accompanies the Liberalia festival: the crowds rushes, gathering in Thiasos the men, wives and mothers, young females, great and humbles, rush to the new cult. Father turn your mild head here, and gentle horns, and spread the sails of my art to a favourable breeze.
