Wine is the fruit of a delicate encounter of creative inspiration with a terroir and grapes liable to express its quintessence. These grapes come from the LIBER PATER vineyard in Graves, in France. This 30-miles long strip, located between the left bank of Garonne and the Landes forest, is the cradle of Bordeaux wines. The “Graves wines” are synonymous with excellency. They were named from their soil, which has been worked by the Garonne, from which gravel , pebbles, flint and other shingle fragments.
The primitive establishment of the French vineyard is a testimonial for the exceptional climate and terroir, which has enabled us to acquire an inimitable ancestral know-how. Our ambition for this XXIst century is to harmonize the millenary wine-making tradition of Liber and its very expressive traditional vines with new vine varieties adding elegance and complexity, to build the basis for a rebirth and an international recognition.
